Football’s Biggest Stars to Attend Dubai International Sports Conference and Globe Soccer Awards

The 19th Dubai International Sports Conference, organized by the Dubai Sports Council under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, will take place on Friday evening at Atlantis, The Palm. Coinciding with the 15th Globe Soccer Dubai Awards, the event will host more than 1,000 guests, including global football icons.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to headline the gathering, joined by representatives from his former club Real Madrid, including Jude Bellingham and Thibaut Courtois. Other notable attendees include Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.

Themed "Talented Football", the conference will feature discussions and insights from top figures in the sport. Moderated by CNN’s Amanda Davis and co-hosted by Tom Urquhart, the summit will address key issues in football. Ronaldo, Bellingham, and Courtois are among the guest speakers.

The awards ceremony will present 15 main awards, including:

  • Best Men’s Player
  • Best Women’s Player
  • Best Men’s Club
  • Best Women’s Club
  • The Maradona Award
  • Five Career Awards

Since its inception in 2010, the Globe Soccer Awards have celebrated excellence in football across all levels while the co-located conference provides a platform for industry leaders to shape the sport’s future.
