The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has signed a collaboration agreement with etisalat by e& to offer support services for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as part of the upcoming Muwafaq package initiative.
The goal of this partnership is to encourage tax compliance among SMEs.
The agreement was signed at FTA’s headquarters in Dubai by Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General, FTA and Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Senior Vice President, Government Business, etisalat by e&.
Al Bustani emphasised the significance of the agreement to support SMEs and promote tax compliance.
He stated that the Muwafaq package was designed to empower SMEs and make them a driving force in the economy.
He also emphasised that the launch of the Muwafaq package is part of the FTA's plan to maintain a favourable tax environment that promotes compliance with high standards of transparency and governance.
Al Bustani underlined the government's ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurs and SMEs, considering their critical role in diversifying income sources and developing human capital.
Al Ahmed emphasised the significance of the partnership with the FTA for etisalat by e&.
He stated that it was an honour to work with the FTA on the Muwafaq package initiative to support entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Al Ahmed noted that etisalat by e& has always been dedicated to supporting SMEs with various initiatives and services to help them focus on their business goals and contribute to the economic development of the country.
He credited the UAE's leadership for their vision to make the country one of the best in the world for ease of doing business, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
