The Future Hospitality Summit (FHS World) opened on Monday at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, marking its 20th anniversary as one of the leading global events shaping the hospitality and tourism industry.

Running from October 27 to 29, the three-day summit has drawn more than 1,600 delegates and over 200 high-level speakers from across the world.

Held under the theme “Where Vision Leads, Investment Follows,” the summit explores key topics driving the future of the sector, from global outlooks and investment trends to innovation, wellness, and sustainability. The programme includes focused tracks on lifestyle and wellness, technology, F&B experiences, branded residences, and real estate development.

Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, delivered the opening keynote titled “The UAE’s Blueprint for Tourism, Innovation, and Economic Resilience,” highlighting the nation’s strategic efforts to position itself as a global tourism and investment hub.

Another highlight was a conversation with Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais, Secretary-General Elect of the UN World Tourism Organisation, who spoke on redefining leadership in a rapidly changing travel landscape.

The agenda continued with sessions on investment strategies in the Middle East, the role of automation in boosting profitability, and data-driven approaches to hospitality planning, setting the tone for an insightful week of collaboration and innovation in Dubai.
