The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced that it has received (Platinum Accreditation) from IdeasUK in recognition of its excellence in managing new ideas and innovation.

On this occasion, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, GCAA Director-General, stated,
"This accreditation is the result of continuous efforts to develop and establish a work environment capable of embracing and generating innovative and creative ideas, serving the strategic goals of the GCAA and enhancing the competitiveness of civil aviation services in the country."
