Guests travelling to Dubai International (DXB) from 6-18 November 2023 will get a special ‘Dubai Airshow – the future of the aerospace industry’ stamp in their passport
This highlights the cohesion of the responsibilities of the various UAE private and government entities operational at the airport.
The initiative is part of a collaboration between the General Directorate of Residency & Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and Dubai Airports, highlighting the significant role the Dubai Airshow plays in advancing the aviation industry and enhancing Dubai's position as a leading destination for tourism and air transport.
HE. Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, General Director of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, emphasised that stamping the passports of passengers arriving at DXB with the Dubai Airshow logo is part of the efforts to promote Dubai’s position as a leading international destination, while further highlighting the significance of the global industry event.
HE. Al Marri also noted that the special stamp on passengers' passports reflects the readiness and passion to provide a unique and memorable experience to everyone who visits Dubai during the event, aligning with Dubai Airports’ commitment to working alongside industry peers to provide world-class experiences for travellers.
Dubai Airshow 2023 will take place at Dubai World Central (DWC), Dubai Airshow Site, from 13-17 November. It will see participation from local, regional and global industry players, reflecting Dubai's pioneering status in promoting the future of the aviation industry.
This edition of the biennial event will see breath-taking flying displays and showcase the latest technological advancements and push the boundaries of innovation. It will see participation from senior decision-makers and major private companies across aviation, aerospace and space sectors from around the world.
In the first half of 2023, Dubai welcomed a large number of international tourists, compared to the same period in 2019 and Dubai International Airport (DXB) recorded unprecedented levels of passenger traffic, exceeding pre-pandemic levels in the first half. In addition, it hosted a number of important international and global events across the country.
