GEMS Education has opened the School of Research and Innovation (SRI) in Dubai Sports City, setting a new benchmark for AI-driven and innovation-focused learning in the UAE.
The state-of-the-art campus is designed to align with Dubai’s Education Strategy 2033 and foster a future-ready generation equipped with creativity, critical thinking, and technological skills.
Spanning 47,600 square metres, the school features advanced AI integration across classrooms, robotics and engineering labs, Extended Reality studios, and a dedicated Research Hub that replaces the traditional library with a collaborative space for innovation.
The LEED Gold-certified campus generates 30% of its energy from solar power and employs smart systems for lighting and ventilation efficiency. Its design includes hydroponic gardens, rainwater harvesting, and energy-saving fixtures that promote sustainability as part of everyday learning.
SRI also introduces regional firsts, including a fully AI-integrated ecosystem, humanoid and quadruped robotics, and a professional-grade Esports and Game Design Academy. Students have access to cutting-edge facilities such as an F1 and Karting Engineering Lab, a FoodTec Lab with 3D food printing, and the region’s first all-Steinway Premier Music Academy.
With partnerships spanning Microsoft, HP, KUKA Robotics, and EON Reality, SRI embodies GEMS Education’s mission to deliver world-class, experiential learning that prepares students to lead innovation in a rapidly evolving world.
