The 1 Billion Followers Summit has appointed Chilean YouTuber Germán Garmendia as an ambassador for its third edition, set to take place in Dubai from January 11-13, 2025, under the theme "Content for Good."
Known as the most-followed Spanish-language creator on YouTube, Garmendia joins a diverse group of ambassadors representing the summit’s vision of promoting positive digital content.
At 34, Garmendia has established himself as a leading digital influencer with a following of over 121 million across platforms. His journey began with his original channel, HolaSoyGerman, which captured everyday life through humor, amassing 41 million subscribers and 7 billion views. His second channel, JuegaGerman, boasts 48 million subscribers, further cementing his influence in the Spanish-speaking digital sphere.
Garmendia expressed excitement over the role, stating,
“It is one of the biggest creator-focused events on the planet. The summit is a great opportunity for me to connect with experts, speakers, and other prominent attendees.”
As ambassadors, Garmendia and his peers—including creators like Ahmed El Ghandour, Anas Marwah, and Prajakta Koli—will raise awareness for the summit’s goals via social media. The event aims to foster collaboration among content creators worldwide, supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming a global creativity hub.
