GITEX Global, the world’s largest tech event, returns to the UAE this week for its 44th edition, poised to redefine the global digital economy and AI ecosystem.
Taking place from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the event will host over 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries, solidifying the UAE's position as a hub for AI-driven innovation.
Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of DWTC, emphasized the significance of GITEX Global, stating,
“It will see significant global collaborations and intensive engagements, creating competitive advantages in the race towards digital supremacy.”
The global AI market is projected to soar from $621 billion in 2024 to an astounding $2.7 trillion by 2032. With more than 3,500 enterprises showcasing advancements in AI, IoT, and cloud technology, GITEX Global is set to leave a lasting impact.
Key participants include the Advanced Technology Research Council and G42 Group from Abu Dhabi, alongside global tech giants such as Adobe, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Dell, Google, Huawei, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle, and Salesforce. The event will feature over 120 hours of AI-focused content and introduce the region's largest Data Centre Symposium, paving the way for the upcoming AI Everything Global 2025.
This year's GITEX Global marks its largest-ever international participation, welcoming over 400 government and digital agencies, with innovative contributions from new participants including Austria, Singapore, and Kazakhstan.
