GITEX Global 2025 is set to bring the world’s technology leaders to Dubai next week, spotlighting breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum computing, semiconductors, and data centres.

The event, running from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will feature more than 6,800 companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries.

With the global AI market projected to hit US$4.8 trillion by 2033, the exhibition underscores the race to integrate AI across industries. Global tech giants including Microsoft, Google, IBM, AWS, Huawei, and Dell will lead this year’s line-up, joined by innovators like Cerebras, Qualcomm, and Tenstorrent unveiling next-generation solutions.

Running alongside is Expand North Star at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. The startup showcase celebrates its 10th edition, connecting 2,000 high-growth startups with over 1,200 investors managing US$1.1 trillion in assets.

This year marks record global participation, with Brazil joining as Country Partner alongside delegations from Serbia, Canada, Chile, Spain, Türkiye, and others. The event will also see the debut of major biotech and quantum computing innovations, from AI-driven gene therapies to IBM’s Quantum System Two and PsiQuantum’s work on quantum sovereignty.

Industry leaders, including Khazna and O’Leary Ventures, will address the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure as data centre investments top US$500 billion globally. According to DWTC’s EVP Trixie LohMirmand, the event

“gives new impetus to transformative technologies where AI ingenuity meets humanity’s greatest challenges.”

From agentic AI robotics to sovereign AI chips, GITEX Global 2025 cements Dubai’s role as a driving force in shaping the world’s digital future.
