The GITEX Global 2024 exhibition, the world’s largest technology event, opens its doors to the public today, 14th October, in Dubai.
The Dubai Government is making a strong statement with a joint pavilion that hosts over 45 entities from both the public and private sectors, organized by Digital Dubai.
A highlight of the pavilion is a dedicated zone for artificial intelligence, underscoring its significance in enhancing business operations and government services as part of Dubai's ongoing digital transformation strategy. This initiative aims to showcase the city’s commitment to leveraging technology for future advancements.
The Dubai Government Pavilion features key strategic partners, with "e&" recognized as the Platinum Partner and Emirates Auction as the esteemed Gold Plus Partner. Other notable Gold Partners include the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Dubai Airports, and Moro, a subsidiary of Digital Dewa. Silver Partners consist of the Department of Economy and Tourism, UXE Security Solutions, Network International, and Dell Technologies.
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, emphasized the event’s importance in showcasing global technological innovations.
“This year’s edition is particularly noteworthy due to the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence technologies,”
he stated, describing AI as a defining feature of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He invited attendees to explore the Dubai Government Pavilion, promising an engaging experience with solutions presented by various entities.
“Visitors will witness our digital achievements and initiatives that harness technology for the benefit of humanity, led by the government sector,”
he added.
Digital Dubai aims to serve as a unifying platform, highlighting the contributions of various government and private sector entities at this prestigious exhibition.
