The Global Futures Society has expanded to 91 members across 33 countries after 31 international organisations and experts joined the network during the Dubai Future Forum 2025.
The growth marks a significant boost for the global platform dedicated to future design, collaboration, and long-term strategic thinking.
The announcement came on the second day of the forum, which is hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation at the Museum of the Future. The event is recognised as the world’s largest gathering of futurists and brings together thought leaders and institutions focused on emerging opportunities and global challenges.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, said the strong uptake reflects Dubai’s success in building a model that supports foresight and future readiness. He noted that the society enables members to exchange ideas, share proven models, and collaborate on initiatives rooted in long-term partnerships and collective innovation.
The Global Futures Society was launched during the Dubai Future Forum 2022 and has grown steadily. Its membership increased from 40 institutions in 2023 to 60 by the end of the 2024 forum. The latest expansion underscores its rising influence among future-oriented organisations worldwide.
The society aims to unite leading institutions in strategic planning and future studies, promote collaborative visions, and identify opportunities across key sectors. It also supports the development of solutions that strengthen global preparedness for coming transformations.
Members benefit from knowledge programmes and specialised training that encourage design thinking, strategic planning, and shared learning across diverse disciplines.
