Global Village, the region's premier multicultural family destination, officially opens its doors today, kicking off its much-anticipated 29th season.
The opening ceremony begins at 6 PM, promising an evening filled with stunning performances and surprises designed to enchant visitors.
This season, running until 11 May 2025, is set to be the largest yet, featuring 30 pavilions that showcase over 90 cultures. Guests can look forward to more than 3,500 shopping outlets, 250 dining options, and a staggering 40,000 shows alongside 200 rides and attractions tailored to enhance the visitor experience.
Among the new attractions this year are the pavilions for Jordan, Iraq, and Sri Lanka & Bangladesh, inviting guests to explore their rich traditions and culinary delights. The dining scene also sees significant upgrades, with the new Restaurant Plaza housing 11 double-story eateries, and revamped areas like the Floating Market and Railway Market providing fresh culinary experiences.
In addition to enhanced dining options, visitors can enjoy expanded green promenades, offering serene spaces for relaxation amid the vibrant atmosphere. Exciting attractions include the returning fan-favorite Neon Galaxy X and the debut of Secrets of the Lost City, a treasure hunt for ages 10 and up.
A highlight of this season is the introduction of the Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show, featuring gravity-defying stunts that promise to thrill audiences. Fireworks displays every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM will further elevate the magical ambiance.
With diverse ticket options available, including a special family night on Tuesdays, Global Village is poised to deliver an unparalleled experience, inviting families and friends to explore the world without leaving Dubai.
