Dubai to Host Global Women’s Forum 2024 in November

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) is set to host the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 (GWFD 2024) on November 26-27 at Madinat Jumeirah. This marks the third iteration of the prestigious event, which aims to gather international leaders and experts, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to women's empowerment.

Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of DWE, stated that Emirati women's achievements reflect the visionary approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Forum will serve as a platform for impactful dialogue and solutions to challenges women face globally, aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Forum will revolve around three central themes: Future Economies, Future Societies; Collective Engagements, Collective Actions; and Impactful Technologies, Impactful Innovations. These themes will guide discussions on building resilient societies, fostering collaborative efforts in gender balance, and exploring transformative technologies.

Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri emphasized the Forum's focus on significant policy issues, entrepreneurship, and economic trends, crucial for advancing women’s rights and harnessing their talents for sustainable development.

Registrations are now open for GWFD 2024, accessible via the official website. The DWE aims to promote active participation, continuing its legacy of establishing the Forum as a pivotal global platform for women’s empowerment and international cooperation.
