The organising committee of GOTECH 2025 has officially announced the agenda for the seventh edition of the leading energy technology conference, set to take place from April 21–23 in Dubai.
Held under the patronage and in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the event will focus on the theme “Towards a Digital and Sustainable Future of Energy.”
Bringing together global leaders, innovators, and experts, GOTECH 2025 will explore the latest in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability across the energy sector. Organised in collaboration with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Dragon Oil, the conference aims to be a key platform for industry dialogue and innovation.
Ali Rashid Al Jarwan, CEO of Dragon Oil and Honorary President of the Organising Committee, emphasised the importance of the event’s royal patronage in reinforcing Dubai’s global standing in energy technology.
"GOTECH 2025 provides an exceptional platform to exchange ideas and push the boundaries in digital transformation and sustainability,"
he said.
The agenda includes five key panel discussions covering digital transformation, low-carbon technologies, skills development, mature asset recovery, and diversity and inclusion. Technical sessions will highlight AI applications, renewable energy, advanced drilling, and data-driven production strategies. A specialised workshop on offshore operations excellence will also be held.
Michelle Boyd, General Manager of Events at SPE, noted that the conference addresses both technical innovation and human capital development—critical areas in the evolving energy landscape.
The event will also feature a university platform for student engagement and a technology exhibition with over 48 exhibitors showcasing innovations reshaping the future of energy.
