The Board of Directors of the General Pension and Social Security Authority has endorsed a forward-looking strategic plan aimed at strengthening the UAE’s pension system through artificial intelligence, while reviewing a year of strong operational and financial performance.
Chaired by Mubarak Rashid Al Mansoori, the Board held its first meeting of 2026 to assess GPSSA’s key achievements in 2025 and outline priorities for the coming years. Members described 2025 as a milestone year in advancing a sustainable and integrated pension framework that supports long-term financial stability.
The approved strategy places artificial intelligence at the centre of GPSSA’s transformation, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, improving service delivery, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The Board reviewed a comprehensive AI roadmap covering 2025 to 2029, designed to support people-centred services and strengthen institutional performance.
Updates on the GPSSA 2023 to 2026 strategy were also presented, highlighting progress in ensuring pension fund sustainability, optimising investment management, and developing flexible policies that respond to economic and demographic changes.
Al Mansoori praised the authority’s performance, citing growth in investments, improved services, and an expanding base of insured members as evidence of a clear and effective strategy. He reaffirmed GPSSA’s commitment to building on this momentum by leveraging advanced technologies to maximise economic and social impact and safeguard financial security for future generations.
The strategy further prioritises enhancing the customer experience through accessible and proactive services, supported by digital integration with partners. It also emphasises empowering national talent, fostering a culture of innovation, and strengthening governance and risk management practices.
