The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) is participating in numerous activities in February 2023 to mark UAE Innovation Month, spreading awareness on the importance of critical thinking and innovation amongst its employees and members of society.
Some of the innovative initiatives lined up for the GPSSA as part of the UAE Innovation Month include the 25-Day Challenge, UAE Hackathon, 01 Government Platform, Innovation in Customer Participation Digital Lecture, Governments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Innovation Lab and the Future Government Game Workshop.
The 25-Day Challenge, organised by GPSSA’s innovation team, challenges its Customer Happiness Department, the Pension Operations Department and the Digital IT Sector to activate a ChatPot instant chat service to respond to customer inquiries, with emphasis on questions related to the NAFIS programme. Currently, customer responses are handled by GPSSA’s call centre.
The UAE Hackathon, organised by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, aims to consolidate the principle of competing minds amongst different organisations. The intent is to design and share proactive ideas for customers while proposing innovative solutions to specific challenges.
Participants will be invited to benefit from experts in different fields by participating in various workshops, where valuable and successful solutions in favour of the community will be highlighted.
GPSSA’s innovation team has partnered with Exantium Management Consulting to introduce the 01 Government Platform with a mission to inspire and empower leaders to design the government of the future. This one-hour webinar on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023, will offer strategic insight into leadership and innovation. The next day employees will be offered the opportunity to embark on a digital lecture titled "Innovation in Customer Participation".
Additionally, members of the public will be invited to attend an online lecture titled "Governments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" where GPSSA’s role in supporting innovation will be highlighted. The link to the lecture will be published and announced on GPSSA’s Instagram on Wednesday, 9th February, 2023.
The Innovation Lab includes developing innovative ideas suggested by insured individuals, pensioners and GPSSA’s representatives to further update data for pensioners and beneficiaries. The initiative will be held on Wednesday, 15th February, 2023, at the Ministry of Possibilities.
Finally, the Future Government Game Workshop consists of different brainstorming sessions and activities with employers, insured individuals, pensioners, beneficiaries and students, with a quest to activate strategic partnerships and spread creative ideas that bring about impactful and constructive results.
