This came during the first meeting of the specialised committees of the Great Arab Minds Initiative, during which the evaluation process of the nominations received by the Initiative was reviewed, which included thousands of nominations for scientists, researchers, and those with scientific contributions, as well as from the scientific and research community, universities and institutions around the world.
The meeting also discussed the vital role that candidates can play through their excellence in their specialisations in inspiring and motivating talents and competencies to lead the paths of sustainable economic, social and human development, as well as enhance scientific, creative, intellectual and knowledge production.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, Chairman of the Economics Committee of the Great Arab Minds Initiative; Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Chairman of the Engineering and Technology Committee of the Great Arab Minds Initiative; Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre; Dr. Amer Ahmed Sharif, President of Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Academic Health Corporation (DAHC); and Saeed Al Nazari, Secretary-General of Great Arab Minds Initiative.
