H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has approved a series of strategic initiatives to enhance social development, quality of life, and digital transformation across the emirate. The initiatives were greenlit during a meeting of The Executive Council of Dubai, chaired by Sheikh Hamdan.
Aligning with Dubai’s Vision for Community Growth
The approval follows President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community, reinforcing the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which is backed by a substantial AED 208 billion budget. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that these initiatives will strengthen social cohesion and encourage government entities to accelerate efforts toward building a resilient and inclusive society.

Among the major initiatives approved:
- Dubai Child Protection Protocol: Strengthens child welfare and safety through coordinated efforts between various government bodies.
- Community Development Fund Policy: Designed to empower UAE nationals and improve access to essential social services.
- Strata Registration Initiative: Enhances homeownership opportunities for UAE citizens by allowing property owners to subdivide real estate units and issue independent title deeds.
Urban and Digital Transformation Efforts
To further improve urban living and government services, The Executive Council also approved:
- Super Block Initiative: Aims to convert urban areas into pedestrian-friendly zones, promoting sustainability and accessibility.
- Unified Digital Platform Initiative: Consolidates Dubai’s government digital services into a single platform by 2027, positioning Dubai as a global leader in digital transformation.
