Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has directed Dubai Police to intensify its efforts to become the world’s leading force in adopting artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.

The move aims to further enhance the quality and efficiency of police services while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and smart governance.

Chairing a meeting attended by key officials including Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; and Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, Sheikh Hamdan underscored the importance of investing in the skills and technical expertise of police personnel.

He emphasized that empowering officers with cutting-edge tools and training is vital to operating advanced systems with precision and achieving Dubai’s vision of being the best city to live, work, and visit.

Praising Dubai Police’s achievements, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the need to build a smart security ecosystem driven by innovation and national talent. He said the goal is to set a global example in future-ready policing that supports a safe, sustainable, and technologically advanced society.

During the meeting, Lieutenant General Al Marri briefed Sheikh Hamdan on recent projects and initiatives in information technology, smart services, and AI integration, reflecting the force’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and service excellence.
