H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed inaugurated the Dubai AI Campus at DIFC as part of phase one of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI.

The initiative aims to accelerate AI adoption across sectors, aligning with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision to establish Dubai as a global digital economy hub.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed inaugurated the Dubai AI Campus at DIFC to advance AI adoption and economic growth. The initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and aims to boost AI’s GDP contribution. The campus is expected to host numerous businesses and jobs, reinforcing Dubai's status as a global tech hub.

The inauguration of the Dubai AI Campus at DIFC, attended by key officials including Omar bin Sultan Al Olama and Essa Kazim, marks the completion of phase one with 75 businesses registered. Phase two will expand to 100,000 square feet, attracting over 500 companies and creating 3,000 jobs by 2028, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global tech hub.

Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority, emphasized how the Dubai AI Campus aligns with DIFC’s 2030 Strategy, boosting the fintech and innovation ecosystem. The cluster, supported by partnerships with major tech firms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, offers an innovation lab for small businesses and specialized AI licenses within DIFC's legal framework.

Businesses within the Dubai AI Campus cluster will benefit from DIFC's pioneering Digital Assets Law, offering legal certainty. Dubai will host the Dubai AI and Web3 Festival in September 2024, showcasing its commitment to future tech. The DIFC Innovation Hub, home to over 1,000 startups, continues to drive innovation, including initiatives like the Metaverse Accelerator Program.
