IDP Education has entered a strategic partnership with the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme, a prestigious initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
This collaboration is set to significantly impact the academic futures of high-achieving Emirati graduates.
The scholarship programme, endowed with AED1.1 billion, is committed to supporting 100 students annually. It provides financial aid and facilitates access to top international universities and specialized courses, tailored to meet Dubai's evolving economic demands. The inaugural cohort's orientation was graced by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, who praised the students for their achievements and reaffirmed Dubai's dedication to celebrating and nurturing excellence.
The programme not only supports academic pursuits but also recognizes exceptional students for their academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
Aisha Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority and Chair of the steering committee, expressed enthusiasm about IDP’s involvement, stating,
“We are delighted to welcome IDP as a strategic partner. This collaboration enhances our efforts to develop Emirati leaders by leveraging IDP’s global expertise in education.”
Imad Chaoui, Regional Director at IDP, remarked,
