The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has entered into a strategic partnership with Bahrain's Arabian Gulf University, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 96th Board of Trustees meeting.
Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Hamdan Foundation, and Dr. Saad Al Fuhaid, President of Arabian Gulf University, formalized the agreement, marking a significant step in advancing educational and medical excellence across the region.
Dr. Al Fuhaid expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to foster innovative educational and training programs.
"This partnership reflects our commitment to launching initiatives that contribute to comprehensive development, talent development, and innovation across multiple fields,"
he said.
Dr. Al Suwaidi highlighted the importance of the agreement in strengthening ties and exchanging expertise.
"We are excited to collaborate with a distinguished institution like Arabian Gulf University, aiming to enhance medical and educational excellence while promoting innovation,"
he stated. The MoU also aligns with the Foundation’s broader strategy to forge global partnerships and recognize excellence in the medical and educational sectors.
The agreement will see both institutions work together in joint research, knowledge exchange, and developing specialized care programs for gifted individuals. They will also organize conferences, seminars, and training initiatives focused on medical and educational development, talent nurturing, and innovation.
This collaboration is set to make significant strides in advancing healthcare education and fostering innovation across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, positioning both parties for future success.
