The Hatta Winter Festival, organised by Brand Dubai, continues to captivate visitors with its blend of creativity and community-focused activities.
Among the highlights was the Photo Walk held on 4th January 2025, which attracted 118 participants, including 73 first-time visitors to Hatta.
Led by Emirati photographer Ola Allouz in partnership with fotoUAE, the event brought together professional and amateur photographers to capture Hatta’s stunning landscapes and vibrant cultural essence. Supported by Fujifilm Middle East, participants used state-of-the-art cameras to document the region’s rugged mountains, tranquil valleys, and lively cultural scenes. The initiative not only inspired creativity but also aimed to create a visual archive showcasing Hatta’s unique charm.
The festival, running from 13th December 2024 to 22nd January 2025, is part of the broader Hatta Winter initiative launched under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. It features workshops, cultural events, fitness sessions, and adventure activities.
Hatta Winter comprises four additional festivals: Hatta Cultural Nights by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the Hatta Honey Festival and Hatta Agricultural Festival by Dubai Municipality, and Hatta x DSF by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. Together, these events highlight Hatta’s appeal as a cultural and natural destination, while fostering collaboration between government and private sectors.
With initiatives like the Photo Walk, the Hatta Winter Festival continues to connect creative communities and celebrate the spirit of this picturesque region, sharing its stories with the world.
