The 13th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) will be held on September 4-5, 2024, at Expo Centre Sharjah, under the theme ‘Agile Governments... Innovative Communication.’
Organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), the event will bring together over 250 speakers and experts from around the world to explore innovative communication strategies and address key global and local developmental issues.
The forum will feature more than 160 activities, including panel discussions, expert-led workshops, and speeches, in collaboration with over 35 local and international entities. The event will delve into critical themes such as the economic impact of communication, talent attraction, and the role of artificial intelligence in redefining media campaigns.
Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of SGMB, emphasized the forum’s role in shaping future communication strategies and addressing modern challenges. The event will also offer 29 dedicated activities to enhance the communication and media skills of young participants, alongside 40 training sessions for government officials, employees, and students.
With a strong focus on sustainable development and innovative solutions, IGCF 2024 aims to strengthen Sharjah’s position as a global leader in government communication, while fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators.
