The 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) is set to showcase a distinguished lineup of influential leaders who will deliver thought-provoking talks on pressing global issues. These discussions will cover the transformative impact of education on future generations and the fierce global competition for top talent.
The forum will delve into groundbreaking advancements in genomics, economics, and media, exploring how these innovations can be harnessed to drive societal progress and align with the UAE’s ambitious goals.
Among the esteemed speakers at the event are Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office; global economist Prof. Justin Lin, Chief Economist for China and former Senior Vice President for Development Economics at the World Bank; renowned Japanese economist and Professor Fumio Hayashi; Moroccan engineer and inventor Rachid El Yazmi; and Dr. Ahmed Al Awadhi, Director of the Emirati Genome Programme.
Organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, IGCF 2024 will take place on the 4th and 5th of September under the theme ‘Agile Governments... Innovative Communication’.
