India Leads in New Foreign Companies Joining Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2024
Dubai continues to solidify its position as a global investment hub, with India ranking first in the number of new foreign companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2024.
According to a recent analysis by the chamber, 16,623 Indian companies registered as new members this year.
Pakistan followed in second place with 8,179 new companies, while Egypt secured third place with 5,302 new registrations. The report also highlighted that Iraq, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom recorded the highest growth rates among the top 10 nationalities of new foreign companies.
The number of Iraqi companies joining the chamber grew by 37.8%, rising from 1,247 in 2023 to 1,718 in 2024. Meanwhile, Turkish companies saw a 25.5% increase, with registrations growing from 1,047 to 1,314. The United Kingdom also saw a 14.2% rise, with 2,588 new companies joining in 2024, up from 2,267 in 2023.
Syria ranked fourth on the list with 2,764 new businesses, followed by the UK in fifth place. Bangladesh, Iraq, Jordan, China, and Türkiye completed the top 10 nationalities of new members.
In terms of industries, the trading and services sector dominated new registrations, accounting for 41.1% of all new companies. The real estate, renting, and business services sector followed with 32.9%, while construction contributed 10.5% of new registrations. The transport, storage, and communication sector ranked fourth at 8.4%.
These figures highlight Dubai’s growing appeal to global investors and its position as a leading business hub.
