Nasdaq Dubai has welcomed two new Sukuk listings worth USD 2.2 billion from the Republic of Indonesia, reinforcing the nation’s status as the largest sovereign Sukuk issuer on the exchange.

The dual tranche issuance includes a USD 1.1 billion 4.55% trust certificate maturing in 2030 and a USD 1.1 billion 5.20% green trust certificate due in 2035. The move reflects Indonesia’s continued focus on sustainable financing and its established leadership in the global Sukuk market.

With this listing, Indonesia’s outstanding Sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai rises to USD 24.05 billion across 21 issuances, making it the exchange’s largest sovereign portfolio. Overall, Nasdaq Dubai’s Sukuk market now stands at USD 98.6 billion, with more than 100 listings from sovereign, corporate, and supranational issuers worldwide.

The admission was marked by a bell-ringing ceremony led by HE Husin Bagis, Ambassador of Indonesia to the UAE, alongside Hamed Ali, CEO of Nasdaq Dubai and Dubai Financial Market. Both officials highlighted the significance of Indonesia’s growing role in sustainable development and Nasdaq Dubai’s expanding global platform.

Total outstanding debt listings on Nasdaq Dubai have now surpassed USD 139 billion, cementing its position as a leading hub for fixed-income securities.
