Dubai South has strengthened its position as a leading logistics hub with the opening of a new high tech facility by Indu Kishore Logistics in the Logistics District. The purpose built site is designed to support growing e-commerce demand and enhance the flow of goods across the region.
Spanning about 23,000 square metres, the facility includes storage for 75,000 pallets and stands 22 metres high. It is equipped with data driven automation that enables faster processing times and smoother shipment movement, aligning with Dubai’s wider focus on efficiency and innovation in logistics.
Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, said the addition of Indu Kishore Logistics reflects rising demand for advanced logistics capabilities. He noted that Dubai South’s infrastructure and connectivity continue to attract companies looking to scale and innovate within a strategic ecosystem.
Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of Indu Group, said the company is proud to complete the project within a 12 month timeline. He credited the support and collaboration of the Dubai South team, highlighting the development as a key step in strengthening their e commerce operations.
The Logistics District sits within one of Dubai’s most important infrastructure networks, offering direct access to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port through a bonded corridor, and dedicated zones such as EZDubai and the Contract Logistics Zone. The new facility is expected to further enhance the district’s growing role in regional trade and fulfilment.
