His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, today inaugurated the new office of Informa Global Group, a leading international events, digital services, and academic research company, at One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre.
Welcomed by His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and key officials from Informa, including Chairman John Rishton and CEO Lord Stephen Carter, His Highness toured the new premises and was briefed on the company’s global operations. Informa, known for organising major international exhibitions and conferences, partners with the Dubai World Trade Centre for over 15 events, including the renowned Arab Health, Dubai Airshow, and Middle East Energy.
During the visit, Sheikh Mansoor highlighted the exhibition sector as a cornerstone of Dubai’s economy, noting the city’s significant global accomplishments in the field. He commended Informa’s role in bolstering Dubai’s position as a global exhibition hub and facilitating international collaboration across sectors to foster innovation and progress.
Informa’s officials expressed their pride in their ongoing partnership with Dubai, praising the city’s supportive business environment. With a capacity for 500 employees, the new office will enhance the group’s regional operations and further solidify Dubai’s standing as a hub for exhibitions and conferences, drawing professionals and companies from around the world to collaborate and drive sector development.
