Italy is set to make a powerful statement at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, with 252 companies confirmed to participate in the exhibition taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 4 to 6.
The strong turnout positions Italy among the largest and most influential international participants at the region’s leading food manufacturing event.
According to the Italian Trade Agency, exports of Italian packaging and food processing machinery to the UAE reached €161 million by July 2025, underscoring the Gulf region’s rising demand for Italian innovation and precision engineering. Italy now leads the UAE market in both categories, with packaging machinery exports up 58.3 percent year-on-year to €53.7 million, while food and beverage processing machinery climbed 87.5 percent to €107.3 million.
The Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with UCIMA and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will host an Italian Lounge at the exhibition. The platform will connect regional manufacturers, distributors, and investors with Italy’s top innovators, showcasing sustainable, digital, and next-generation manufacturing solutions.

As the UAE’s food manufacturing sector expands, demand for advanced automation and processing systems continues to grow. Italian engineering, known for its quality and sustainability, is driving this transformation and strengthening industrial ties across the Gulf.
