Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025 to Strengthen UAE-Japan Economic Ties
MAICO Enterprises Inc. has announced the upcoming Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025, set to take place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Hall 4 from February 10-12, 2025.
This premier three-day event aims to enhance bilateral trade between the UAE and Japan, showcasing a diverse range of industries, from traditional Japanese crafts to cutting-edge technologies.
At a press conference held in Dubai, industry leaders underscored the significance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) negotiations between Japan and the UAE, which are expected to open new avenues for collaboration and sustainable growth. The agreement, launched in September 2023, seeks to deepen trade ties and foster economic prosperity for both nations.
Toshimi Yamazaki, President of Ringo Inc. and Executive Advisor of the Exhibition Organising Committee, emphasized that the event is a significant step toward strengthening economic and cultural ties, aligning with the ongoing CEPA discussions. He highlighted the exhibition’s role in offering a B2B platform that presents Japan's industrial diversity to a dynamic Middle Eastern market.
The 2025 exhibition will feature exhibitors from various Japanese industries, including food, beauty, architecture, and space technology. Mai Sakaue, CEO of MAICO Enterprises, announced that the event aims to attract over 150 exhibitors and up to 30,000 visitors, surpassing the 12,000 visitors seen at the inaugural edition in 2024.
The exhibition is expected to become the largest Japanese business matching event in the Middle East, providing a valuable opportunity for businesses in the UAE, GCC, and MENA regions to explore new growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships with Japan.
