The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched the "Excel Anywhere" initiative, a key component of Dubai's Education 33 (E33) strategy, aimed at providing high-quality education to every Emirati student in the emirate.
Announced by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the E33 strategy is a transformative vision for Dubai’s education system, shifting from a traditional institution-focused model to a learner-centric approach that adapts to individual needs and aspirations.
Excel Anywhere is one of 28 Game Changer initiatives under the E33 strategy, which seeks to revolutionize educational outcomes and promote innovation across all levels of learning. The first phase of the initiative focuses on a school improvement program targeting schools with a large number of Emirati students. Seven schools, including Dubai Schools Al Barsha, Emirates National Schools Dubai, and GEMS Al Barsha National School, have signed on for this phase, collectively serving 6,500 Emirati students.
The program will provide tailored support and data-driven interventions to raise these schools' ratings and enhance educational experiences for Emirati students. KHDA's dedicated team will work with school leaders on areas such as student achievement, teaching standards, school governance, and parent engagement.
Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA, emphasized the importance of empowering Emirati youth through quality education and aligning with Dubai’s broader vision for the future. The Excel Anywhere initiative represents a commitment to an inclusive, impactful education system, ensuring that every Emirati student has the opportunity to excel and contribute to the nation’s progress.
