Lufthansa Technik Middle East has inaugurated a new Painting and Grinding Centre at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai South, marking a significant step in expanding its regional capabilities and reinforcing Dubai’s growing role as a global aviation hub.

The facility is designed to support advanced component painting and grinding processes used in structural and composite repairs. It is expected to enhance operational efficiency by enabling faster curing and drying times, ultimately reducing turnaround times for customers across the region and international markets.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, and Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle East, alongside senior executives from both organisations.

Saif described the launch as a key milestone in strengthening the aviation ecosystem at the hub. He noted that attracting leading global aviation players with advanced capabilities aligns with Dubai’s broader vision to position itself as the aviation capital of the world.

Al Hazmi highlighted that the new centre enhances the company’s operational capabilities in the Middle East. He added that the introduction of improved painting and grinding services will drive greater efficiency and support faster service delivery for clients.

The expansion reflects Lufthansa Technik Middle East’s ongoing partnership with Dubai South and underscores its commitment to supporting the region’s aviation industry with high-quality technical expertise.
