The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) is set to transform its services with the upcoming launch of the "Ma'ashi" platform on October 28, 2024.

Announced during the GITEX 2024 Exhibition, this digital initiative aims to provide timely, user-friendly solutions for employers, insured individuals, pensioners, and beneficiaries.

Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer, Director of the Government Communications Office at GPSSA, emphasized the platform's goal of empowering users to manage their accounts efficiently.

“One of the most important features of the Ma'ashi platform is that it allows insured individuals to track their contribution rates, monitor monthly payments, request statements, and calculate pension rates or end-of-service gratuities,”

she stated.

In addition to the platform, GPSSA introduced an AI-based chatbot designed to enhance customer service efficiency. This interactive service will automate various customer support functions, improving response times and overall user satisfaction.

Dr. Ghadeer expressed optimism about the platform’s potential impact, anticipating significant improvements in service delivery for GPSSA's more than 20,000 employers, over 144,000 insured individuals, and 48,000 pensioners and beneficiaries.

“We expect a major qualitative leap in service mechanisms, follow-ups, and completions,”

she noted.

The Ma'ashi platform also aims to safeguard users' rights by addressing insurance evasion and registration issues, ensuring that insured individuals receive comprehensive support even when transitioning to other systems within the UAE.

With the official launch just days away, GPSSA is poised to enhance its digital offerings, fostering a more proactive approach to pension management in the UAE.
