Maktoum bin Mohammed Approves Strategic Plan to Enhance Dubai's Judicial System

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, has approved the Dubai Judicial Inspection Authority's strategic plan for 2024-2026.

The plan aims to uphold the highest global standards in judicial excellence while ensuring a balance between judicial independence and transparent accountability.

Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum, a meeting of the Dubai Judicial Council reviewed the Authority's initiatives under the strategic plan. Designed to achieve "world-leading judicial inspection," the plan is guided by values of transparency, integrity, cooperation, and innovation. It includes four main objectives, 11 secondary goals, and 27 performance indicators to measure outcomes.

The strategic plan emphasizes enhancing judicial inspection efficiency, achieving comprehensive digital transformation, fostering innovation, and contributing to the development of applicable legislation. It aligns with Dubai’s vision to deliver the world’s fastest, fairest, and most efficient judicial services.

Sheikh Maktoum stated,

"The Dubai Judicial Inspection Authority's strategic plan reflects our commitment to enhancing the emirate's judicial system according to the highest international standards, ensuring prompt justice and the rule of law. It aligns with Dubai’s goals of comprehensive development and global leadership."

His Excellency Counsellor Mohammed Mubarak Al Sabousi, Chief of the Judicial Inspection Authority, highlighted the strategic plan's alignment with Dubai's broader government objectives. He noted its focus on regulating complaints, digitizing operations, and conducting research to formulate effective legislation.

The strategic plan's 27 performance indicators will ensure continuous monitoring of its implementation, supporting Dubai’s ambition to remain a global benchmark in judicial excellence.
