The announcement was made at Arab Health 2025, the leading healthcare event in Dubai, held from January 27-30 at the World Trade Centre.
The strengthened partnership emphasizes the shared vision of both institutions to transform patient care, promote innovation, and solidify Dubai’s status as a global healthcare leader. Key to the collaboration is the establishment of Dubai’s first Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) medical school, designed with guidance from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. The medical school will offer a curriculum aligned with global best practices, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and immersive learning experiences, shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders.
As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network since 2013, American Hospital Dubai has leveraged Mayo Clinic’s expertise to enhance its clinical capabilities. This expanded partnership aims to further optimize clinical practices, improve operational efficiencies, and integrate advanced technologies to elevate the quality of care.
The collaboration also focuses on advancing research and innovation, with Mayo Clinic assisting in establishing a clinical research infrastructure at American Hospital Dubai. The initiative will ensure that patients in Dubai and the broader region have access to world-class care, reducing the need for medical travel abroad and supporting the UAE's long-term healthcare sustainability goals.
