Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dubai Islamic Bank to enhance housing finance services for citizens and improve the overall beneficiary experience in Dubai.
The partnership introduces a secure electronic integration system that will streamline the exchange of documents and financial transactions between both entities. Officials said the move is designed to speed up service delivery, improve operational efficiency and provide citizens with more accessible financing options.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mohammed Al Shehhi, CEO of MBRHE, and Dr. Adnan Chilwan, Group CEO of DIB. Both sides described the agreement as a significant step toward strengthening coordination between government bodies and financial institutions to provide reliable housing finance solutions.
Al Shehhi said the agreement supports the establishment’s mission to expand financing choices for citizens and promote residential and social stability. He noted that the partnership reflects Dubai’s sustainable development goals and advances efforts to offer flexible and innovative financing mechanisms.
Dr. Chilwan said the collaboration aligns with national priorities outlined in the Dubai Social Agenda 2033, particularly the goal of enhancing housing stability for Emirati families. He added that enhanced digital connectivity between the two institutions will raise processing accuracy, improve transparency and accelerate beneficiary journeys.
The agreement reinforces the government’s directive to deepen cooperation between public entities and financial institutions. Both MBRHE and DIB stated that the partnership will support long-term social and economic development by enabling sustainable and accessible housing finance solutions for Emirati families.
