The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) has signed an agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace to establish a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Dubai South.

The facility, spanning 2,400 square meters within MBRAH's Aerospace Supply Chain cluster, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.

This strategic collaboration aims to bolster Dubai’s position as a leading aviation hub, attracting top global players in the aerospace industry.

Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating,

“This partnership underlines our position in attracting the top players in the aviation sector to establish their presence at Dubai South and operate in an integrated economic environment where they can connect with international markets. We will spare no effort in supporting their expansion endeavours, in line with our mandate to solidify and cement Dubai’s position on the world aviation map.”

Liebherr-Aerospace, a division of the France-based Liebherr Group, specializes in high-quality onboard solutions for aerospace and transportation industries, focusing on sustainability and innovation. This new facility will reinforce MBRAH’s offering as a dedicated free-zone for global aerospace players, including airlines, private jet operators, and MRO services.

Located in Dubai South, MBRAH serves as a hub for maintenance centers and training facilities, aligning with Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in the aviation sector. Through partnerships like these, MBRAH is advancing its role in connecting international markets and expanding Dubai’s footprint in the aerospace industry.
