The Food Innovation Hub UAE, launched during COP28, aims to combat global food crises by fostering international cooperation and innovative solutions. Organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and the World Economic Forum, it supports Dubai's Food Security Strategy and addresses challenges like hunger and climate change. The initiative extends partnerships with government and private sectors, including the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and major corporations.
Through conferences and collaborations, it seeks to advance sustainable food production, tackle food insecurity, and promote innovative technologies like vertical farming. The Hub aligns with MBRGI's commitment to global humanitarian efforts, exemplified by their extensive food aid campaigns.
