The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) partnered with AzurX to enhance innovation in the UAE's space and strategic technologies sector.

This collaboration aims to attract global space startups to the UAE, supporting their growth and aligning with the UAE National Innovation Strategy.

Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, representing the UAE Ministry of Finance at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund, announced a strategic partnership with AzurX to boost innovation in the space sector, aiming to accelerate startup growth and industry evolution.

Anna Hazlett, CEO of AzurX, highlights the company's efforts since 2019 to support space and satellite tech in the UAE, emphasizing the strategic, economic, and diplomatic benefits of a thriving space sector. AzurX plans to collaborate with MBRIF to boost space startups through their accelerator program.

MBRIF and AzurX's 6-month accelerator program supports global startups in the UAE, focusing on sectors of the National Innovation Strategy, including space. It provides tailored solutions, expert mentorship, and funding assistance. Success story Farmin secured over AED 1.1 million through partnerships with MBRSC, ADMA, and Abu Dhabi Ports.

The MBRIF Innovation Accelerator Program, launched in 2018, supports global startups and scaleups with resources and mentorship. The seventh cohort, chosen from 230+ applicants across 41 countries, includes innovators in health, energy, technology, and more, aiming to accelerate growth and scalability.

The partnership signifies a robust alliance between MBRIF and AzurX, poised to catalyze innovation, drive visibility, and create a conducive environment for startups in the space and strategic technologies sector in the UAE.
