The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) will host the inaugural Space Science Connect on September 17–18 at its Dubai headquarters, bringing together leading scientists, engineers, and space experts for two days of dialogue and collaboration.

The event is designed to strengthen the UAE’s role in global space research by providing a platform for knowledge exchange and highlighting the latest advancements in human spaceflight, lunar science, and related technologies. It reflects MBRSC’s commitment to building a vibrant scientific community that supports the nation’s long-term space ambitions.

Adnan AlRais, Assistant Director General of Space Operations and Exploration at MBRSC, said the programme aims to align scientific expertise with national priorities. He added that discussions will focus on preparing the UAE for its next phase of exploration while fostering innovation in space research.

Centred around the themes “Life in Orbit” and “Science on the Moon,” the event will feature plenary and technical sessions covering topics such as human physiology in space, protein crystal growth, analog missions, lunar sciences, and in-situ resource utilisation. Panels and presentations from MBRSC and partner institutions will encourage collaboration and showcase the progress of ongoing projects.

By hosting Space Science Connect, MBRSC aims to establish a dedicated forum for scientists and engineers to contribute to shaping research directions that will guide the UAE’s expanding role in space exploration.
