The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has officially announced the opening of registrations for its Winter Space Explorer Camp 2024, set to run from December 23 to 26 at the Centre's headquarters.

The camp, designed for students aged 7 to 10, provides a unique blend of educational and recreational activities aimed at inspiring a passion for space exploration.

This year, the camp will offer a variety of exciting programs, including hands-on workshops, competitions, and interactive activities that combine learning with fun. Participants will delve into the role of robotics in space missions, explore MBRSC's space initiatives, and create 3D space-inspired artwork. Additionally, students will engage in scientific experiments and have the rare opportunity to meet Emirati astronauts, gaining insights into their rigorous training and experiences in space.

Saud Karmustaji, Director of Strategic Communication and External Affairs at MBRSC, emphasized the importance of the camp in fostering a new generation of space enthusiasts.

"The Winter Space Explorer Camp provides a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their scientific and practical skills, while exploring the world of space through hands-on activities,"

he said.

"It aligns with our commitment to inspiring future generations to pursue careers in STEM and contribute to the UAE’s space achievements."

Participants will also enjoy a guided tour of MBRSC's scientific laboratories, offering a deeper understanding of the Centre’s space-related projects.

The Winter Space Explorer Camp 2024 is part of MBRSC’s ongoing effort to nurture young talent and ignite interest in space sciences and technologies. Registration is now open at MBRSC Winter Space Camp 2024.
