MEBAA Show 2024, the region's premier business aviation platform, was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, at Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC).
The event, showcasing innovations and future trends in business aviation, attracted participants from over 95 countries. The opening day featured H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, and highlighted key themes like sustainability and advanced aviation technologies.
Over 145 exhibitors, including Airbus Corporate Jets and Boeing Business Jets, showcased their offerings, with a stunning static display of 30 aircraft. Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, Founding Chairman of MEBAA, emphasized the event's transformative impact, stating:
“This year’s MEBAA Show sets another milestone in the evolution of business aviation.”
Significant announcements included Qatar Executive’s Starlink-enabled Gulfstream G650ER fleet, Victor’s Arabic jet charter app, and IC Leasing’s fleet expansion with a Dassault Falcon 2000LXS. The BizAv Talks conference addressed regional growth, with leaders discussing Dubai’s strategic role and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Ramandeep Oberoi of Falcon Aviation called Dubai a global aviation hub, citing a 230% surge in private jet flights over the past five years. The show also launched a Luxury Boulevard and exclusive networking programs, reinforcing its role as a key collaboration platform. Running until December 13, MEBAA 2024 promises further announcements and partnerships to propel the industry forward.
