The ninth International Congress of Medical Excellence in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine (MEIDAM 2024) will be held from November 15 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Dermatologists and medical professionals from over 85 countries are expected to participate.

For the first time, prominent global organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology, the International League of Dermatological Societies, the European Society of Dermatology and Venereology, and the Royal College of Physicians UK will attend. Delegations from the MENA region and representatives from South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries will also be present.

Dr. Khaled Al Nuaimi, President of the MEIDAM Congress, expressed pride in the event's evolution.

“Our goal this year is to strengthen knowledge exchange while laying the groundwork for global expansion, starting with Morocco next May,” he said.

Dr. Saad Al Sogair, Secretary General of MEIDAM, highlighted the Congress’s international growth, adding,

“We are focused on building a strong foundation for the future of dermatology and aesthetic medicine globally.”

The Congress will cover various topics, including dermatological diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, Mpox updates, and neglected tropical diseases. The event will feature 81 sessions, specialized workshops, and 275 scientific lectures. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 105 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits accredited by the Dubai Health Authority.

An accompanying exhibition will showcase the latest innovations from 82 companies, including international pharmaceutical brands and top dermatology and aesthetic medicine brands.
