The Ministry of Defence has launched the “Ready” programme to equip a new generation of officers and civilians with advanced leadership and strategic skills tailored to future challenges.

The initiative was unveiled under the patronage of Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, who attended the launch alongside Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Force, and Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence. Senior officials and officers were also present.

Designed to prepare elite leaders, the programme focuses on developing innovative approaches, critical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities. It underscores the ministry’s commitment to continuous skills development as a cornerstone for maintaining institutional strength.

Officials highlighted that the programme responds to rapid changes in the work environment, ensuring the military institution remains adaptable, efficient, and capable of addressing evolving demands.

The Ready programme is the outcome of extensive work by the Executive Office at the Ministry of Defence to create an integrated model for leadership preparation. It seeks to instill modern competencies that contribute to long-term institutional excellence and national readiness.
