The Ministry of Economy and Tourism hosted the second Zero Bureaucracy Forum in Dubai, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to building a seamless digital services ecosystem and eliminating unnecessary procedures for businesses and individuals.
Held in the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, the forum gathered senior officials from federal and local entities to discuss the future of government service delivery.
Bin Touq highlighted that the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme reflects the UAE’s vision to simplify lives and strengthen the country’s global competitiveness through advanced, user-friendly digital services. He noted that the Ministry has already achieved full digital transformation, with all services accessible online since 2023.
The event also introduced the “Excellence in Leadership” initiative, designed to empower individuals, particularly within SMEs, and enhance productivity and creativity. In addition, the forum celebrated the graduation of participants from the Digital Service Design Course, equipping them with skills to develop innovative, customer-focused solutions.
Officials emphasized that the programme’s second phase will push towards zero digital bureaucracy by accelerating integration across government entities, reducing routine, and ensuring faster, more efficient services. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision to position the nation as one of the world’s most advanced and competitive economies.
