The Ministry of Finance is set to participate in GITEX Global 2024, scheduled for October 14-18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
This significant event will highlight the Ministry's achievements in service development alongside a range of digital projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting sustainable development.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge financial technology solutions through the Ministry’s advanced digital transformation initiatives. The Ministry's display will feature its digital systems and AI-driven projects that contribute to the growth of the financial sector.
Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the importance of this participation, stating,
“Our involvement in GITEX Global 2024 strengthens our commitment to comprehensive digital transformation in government financial management—a vital pillar for sustainable economic growth in the UAE.”
He highlighted that showcasing innovative digital projects not only celebrates achievements but also fosters strategic partnerships with leading technology organizations.
Al Khoori also expressed the Ministry's goal to share best practices and successful experiences that contribute to digital transformation leadership.
“Investing in modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, enhances quality of life and delivers innovative financial solutions to meet customer needs,”
he added.
The Ministry plans to host a series of dialogue sessions during the event, focusing on initiatives like the Zero Government Bureaucracy programme, the "eInvoicing System" in collaboration with the Federal Tax Authority, and the "Ask Mona" AI financial data advisor.
The Ministry’s participation aligns with its strategy to exchange knowledge and reinforce its leadership in digital transformation, contributing to the UAE's aspirations for a thriving digital economy.
