Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mediclinic Middle East Sign Strategic Healthcare Agreement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mediclinic Middle East, one of the UAE’s leading private healthcare providers, to enhance healthcare services for the ministry's employees and their families.

The MoU was signed by Omar Obaid Al Hassan Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of MOFA, and Hein van Eck, CEO of Mediclinic Middle East.

This collaboration aims to provide exclusive healthcare benefits to MOFA employees and their families, with a focus on health awareness and overall well-being. The agreement highlights the shared goal of fostering a healthy and positive work environment while improving quality of life for the ministry’s workforce.

Al Shamsi expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating,

“This MoU embodies our commitment to establishing partnerships that meet the needs of our employees. It enhances quality of life, fosters cooperation, and reflects our shared responsibility to support societal progress.”

Hein van Eck also praised the agreement, noting,

“We are excited to collaborate with MOFA and demonstrate the strong link between the public and private sectors in the UAE. This partnership reinforces Mediclinic’s dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services, promoting health, and supporting the welfare of MOFA’s employees and their families.”

The partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing the UAE’s national goals, including promoting health and wellness as part of the "We the UAE 2031" vision, by offering integrated healthcare services to ministry employees and contributing to a prosperous society.
