The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has expanded its initiative for automatic recognition of university certificates to include additional entities within the scholarship sector.

Initially launched for students sponsored by the Ministry, the service has now been extended to key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Sports, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), the UAE University (UAEU), the Dubai Ruler’s Court, and the Dubai Health Authority.

This expansion follows the success of the initial phase, which streamlined the academic recognition process for scholarship students and improved their overall experiences. The initiative aims to simplify the recognition of foreign university degrees, reducing the time and effort required for certification, and enabling students to integrate more smoothly into the workforce.

Dr. Mohammad Al Mualla, Undersecretary of MoHESR, emphasized that the expansion reflects the Ministry’s commitment to digital transformation and aligns with the UAE leadership's vision for a knowledge-based economy. He stated that the initiative not only supports students but also strengthens the UAE’s position as a global educational hub.

Looking forward, MoHESR plans to extend the initiative to more educational and scholarship entities, further enhancing student satisfaction and fostering a seamless transition from education to employment. This initiative is part of the Ministry's broader strategy to streamline government processes and contribute to the UAE's ambitious goals of delivering world-class services and ensuring the competitiveness of its educational system.
