The UAE Ministry of Sports has launched the Talent Committee Platform, a national initiative aimed at revolutionizing how athletic talent is discovered, developed, and supported across the country.

Unveiled during a high-profile ceremony in Dubai, the platform is led by the UAE Committee for Talent and National Sports Support (UAETSS). It brings together athletes, coaches, scouts, clubs, and academic institutions through a unified digital hub integrated with the Ministry’s Sportifai system.

The initiative was announced in the presence of Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, along with top ministry officials and leading figures from the UAE sports community. Dr. Al Falasi said the platform marks a major step toward a smart, sustainable sports ecosystem, aligning with the National Sports Strategy 2031 to increase Emirati Olympic participation.

The platform will enable real-time performance tracking and transparent athlete evaluations, connecting schools, academies, clubs, and federations through structured development pathways.

Currently in its pilot phase, the platform will go public in early July. A total of 58 athletes from 13 sports have been selected as the first cohort, chosen through federation nominations and digital scouting tools used during the School Games finals.

The launch event concluded with the Sports Giving Award ceremony, honouring over 30 sponsors for their contributions to national sports development.
